The many faces of Unfrogettable

I never realized how versatile the sitting frog from SU Unfrogettable was. It was so much fun playing around with the features using just the thin end of an SU Basic Black marker. Now I need to see what other stamps I can embellish like this!

I had to be careful not to touch the black ink with the Copics as I colored them. The Copic ink makes the SU marker ink run, unfortunately. And the Versafine ink I stamped with also is not Copic-friendly. So you have to be careful. But I liked the more cartoonish way I colored the frogs. I meant them to show a little white here and there. It looks more whimsical, I think.

I used puffy fabric paint for the girl on the bottom right's pearls.

Nifty tip: To switch the direction of the eyes, draw eyelid lines over the pupils. Then redraw the pupils in a new spot.

Thanks for coming by for a look!

  10. Kim, with your busy life, I don't know how you do all that you do. I, too, have lost my card-making enthusiasm, or maybe it is just so low on the priority list, but your work is amazing. I read your other blog too, and though I don't comment often, I do enjoy checking it out every day. I only look at 4or 5 blogs on a daily basis, and yours is one that hasn't ever made me feel that you were just out to make money off me. You generously share your journey with us. Please continue, as long as it is good for you, and makes you happy. And ignore those that comment negatively. They don't matter, and they should try doing something positive instead. Just saying. 8:)

  11. Doris, glad you liked my tip!

Hilva, I hope you get your card-making desire back. The nice thing about it is that it's there if you do.

Thanks for reading my blogs and for being so encouraging to me! You don't know how much it means to hear your kind words! Really! (((big hug)))
