Well now, isn't this an ingenious idea? Watch the video to see what I mean. I can see doing this with any image that can be cut out easily enough. Thanks to Hero Arts for this great idea!
I don't have many die cuts except the geometrically-shaped kind, but I was thinking that you could do this with almost any image if you stamp it 3 times, and cut them out as similarly as possible, and then glue them together. Then just trim off anything that wasn't trimmed right the first time and proceed from there.
Hello Kim darlin'! I have seen this video, but had forgotten about it! Thanks for posting it!! Since Our Daily Bread designs has many custom cutting dies for their stamps, I can't wait to try this technique with them! BTW, your totally gorgeous card is sitting on my computer desk...I stare at it every day!!! Hugs and blessings, Angie
Awww, Thanks Ang! I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for the sweet thank you card, as well! I saw your tutorial for getting that sky background. Very cool! I always wondered how I could do that without the Copic air compressor gizmo. Now I know! Love to ya, girly!
That's really neat I will have to play with that idea. Thanks Kim :)
